We are hiring a Chicago-based Inside Sales Representative who will report to our Account Director of Sales. This role supports business development efforts by collaborating with sales and marketing to build a strong and reliable pipeline that aligns with target industries and verticals.

40%: Originate new sales opportunities through:
1) Inbound lead follow-up
2) Outbound cold calls and emails
3) Marketing department-provided leads
30%: Research accounts, identify key players, and follow-up on marketing-generated outbound campaigns.
1) Be familiar with eshots’ offering to confidently articulate our value to the leads you’ll be pursuing
15%: Properly hand off qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
15%: Carry out standard sales team tasks:
1) Weekly sales meeting
2) Assist with meeting preparation
3) Ensure CRM database protocols are followed
A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, related field OR equivalent experience.
Minimum of 1 year relevant experience generating new business by prospecting outbound leads in a B2B selling environment.
A desire to make client connections through innovative and strategic outreach.
A record of meeting and exceeding an outreach quota.
Strategic business acumen and strong ability to learn new technology.
Strong attention to detail combined with excellent presentation and communication skills (via phone and email).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
In addition to being sales-minded, the candidate should also develop a clear understanding of our offerings and execution, working hand-in-hand with sales, marketing, and other internal departments to learn about client needs and ensure client expectations are being met. This is a good position for a junior salesperson with a proven track record that has a longer-term desire to progress their career into being a sales executive down the road, as we will be expanding our sales executive team over time as we grow.
